From an early age, Attorney T. Maxwell Sadeghi has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to standing up for those facing hardship, injustice, and overwhelming odds. His passion for criminal defense began as early as the second grade, when, during a career day presentation, he boldly declared to his classmates that he would one day become a criminal defense attorney—a promise he’s kept ever since.
Fueled by that early ambition, Attorney Sadeghi dedicated his academic journey to the study and practice of criminal law. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Oklahoma and went on to receive his Juris Doctor from New England Law | Boston, where he fully immersed himself in the world of criminal defense. While in law school, Attorney Sadeghi took every opportunity to sharpen his skills and deepen his experience. He volunteered for numerous criminal defense externships and earned his 3:03 Student Practitioner License, which allowed him to represent indigent clients as a law student. His practical experience handling a broad spectrum of criminal cases throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts proved invaluable. He also spent two years as a participant in the New England Law | Boston Criminal Procedure Clinic, earning a certification in criminal practice and procedure and receiving multiple academic distinctions for his dedication and performance.
After law school, Attorney Sadeghi joined the Committee for Public Counsel Services (CPCS), where he continued to build his reputation as a tireless and effective advocate for the accused. His time with the Public Defender’s Office further refined his courtroom skills and strengthened his resolve to protect the rights of those who often have no one else in their corner. Driven by the same insatiable hunger for justice that sparked his interest in second grade, Attorney Sadeghi eventually launched his own private practice with a singular focus: defending individuals in their most difficult and vulnerable moments. Today, he remains steadfast in his mission to provide passionate, principled, and skilled legal representation to those who need it most, much like Attorney Meredith L. Reeves, who shares a similar dedication to criminal defense.

When your freedom, your future, or your reputation is on the line, you need more than a lawyer you need a fighter who knows the courtroom inside and out.
That’s where Hugh S. Ramirez steps in. A Massachusetts-based attorney with extensive trial experience and a background as an Assistant District Attorney in Essex County, Hugh brings both sides of the courtroom to every case he takes. Having argued bail, pretrial motions, and evidentiary hearings; gone to trial, stood before juries, and delivered results under pressure.
While serving in the Recovery with Justice (Mental Health) Court, Hugh gained a deeper understanding of the complex intersection between law and mental health. That experience sharpened his ability to see beyond the surface of a case to recognize when behavior stems from struggle, not malice and to approach each matter with the rare balance of empathy and precision. He learned how to advocate effectively for individuals navigating both the legal system and their own personal challenges, shaping the thoughtful, strategic defense work he’s known for today.
At Reeves & Sadeghi Law, Hugh channels that insight and his prosecutorial background into high-impact criminal defense. He understands how the state builds its case and more importantly, how to dismantle it. From DUIs and Assault cases to complex criminal matters, Hugh’s approach is aggressive, methodical, and always built around one goal: winning.
Hugh’s commanding courtroom presence, meticulous preparation, and ability to cut through noise have led to confident advocacy. Fluent in English and conversational in Spanish, making him a powerful communicator across communities, and he treats every case and every client with precision, respect, and resolve. Focused. Fearless. Proven.
