About Us

Meredith L. Reeves

About

Attorney Meredith L. Reeves is one of the most decorated and respected criminal defense attorneys serving the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. A proud Massachusetts native, she has dedicated her entire legal career to protecting the rights of the accused with unmatched skill, compassion, and determination.

Attorney Reeves launched her legal career at Suffolk University School of Law, where her talent and potential were quickly recognized. She earned multiple academic distinctions and was honored with the prestigious Advocate Award for her outstanding legal practice skills. Her commitment to justice extended beyond the classroom: she volunteered with both the New England Innocence Project and the ACLU Police Misconduct Pro Bono Project, deepening

her resolve to fight against wrongful convictions and civil rights violations.

An active leader in law school, Attorney Reeves served on the Trial Competition Team, held the Student Bar Association liaison position, and completed the esteemed Prosecutors Clinic. She also undertook several impactful legal internships, including working as a research assistant on published works focused on first-degree murder appeals in Massachusetts,

and serving as a 3:03 certified student practitioner with the Committee for Public Counsel Services (CPCS). That experience would later define her career path.

After graduating, Attorney Reeves joined CPCS as a Trial Attorney, passionately representing clients in a wide range of cases—from minor traffic offenses to first-degree murder. Her legal expertise and commitment to justice earned her a promotion to Supervising Trial Attorney, where she managed a team of fellow trial attorneys while maintaining her own demanding caseload.

Beyond the courtroom, Attorney Reeves plays an active role in advancing the criminal defense community across Massachusetts. She is a member of the Massachusetts Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, serves on the Criminal Law Curriculum Advisory Committee for Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education (MCLE), and is a panel attorney for both Superior and District Court through the Essex County Bar Association Advocates. Most recently, she was appointed as a Commissioner to the Judicial Nominating Committee, a prestigious role helping to shape the future of the Massachusetts judiciary.

With more than a decade of hands-on trial experience, a deep knowledge of criminal law, and a career defined by leadership and service, Attorney Meredith L. Reeves is a powerful advocate—and a trusted voice—in the Massachusetts legal community.

T. Maxwell Sadeghi

About

From an early age, Attorney T. Maxwell Sadeghi has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to standing up for those facing hardship, injustice, and overwhelming odds. His passion for criminal defense began as early as the second grade, when, during a career day presentation, he boldly declared to his classmates that he would one day become a criminal defense attorney—a promise he’s kept ever since.

Fueled by that early ambition, Attorney Sadeghi dedicated his academic journey to the study and practice of criminal law. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Oklahoma and went on to receive his Juris Doctor from New England Law | Boston, where he fully immersed himself in the world of criminal defense. While in law school, Attorney Sadeghi took every opportunity to sharpen his skills and deepen his experience. He volunteered for numerous criminal defense externships and earned his 3:03 Student Practitioner License, which allowed him to represent indigent clients as a law student. His practical experience handling a broad spectrum of criminal cases throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts proved invaluable. He also spent two years as a participant in the New England Law | Boston Criminal Procedure Clinic, earning a certification in criminal practice and procedure and receiving multiple academic distinctions for his dedication and performance.

After law school, Attorney Sadeghi joined the Committee for Public Counsel Services (CPCS), where he continued to build his reputation as a tireless and effective advocate for the accused. His time with the Public Defender’s Office further refined his courtroom skills and strengthened his resolve to protect the rights of those who often have no one else in their corner. Driven by the same insatiable hunger for justice that sparked his interest in second grade, Attorney Sadeghi eventually launched his own private practice with a singular focus: defending individuals in their most difficult and vulnerable moments. Today, he remains steadfast in his mission to provide passionate, principled, and skilled legal representation to those who need it most.
